Liberty's Kids
Today we watched an episode of the kids video series Liberty's Kids. The kids really enjoyed the episode of The Shot Heard Round the World. my students did find a discrepancy in the fictional story. They had a British soldier getting injured at the the battle on Lexington green. We also read two eyewitness accounts written by both the British and Militia. The militia account was by Sylvanus Wood a Woburn resident, who responded to the call to arms on the morning of the 19th of April after hearing the ringing of the bells sounding the alarm.
