Royall House and Black Heritage Trail
Enjoyed actually being able to go inside and tour the Royall house. Especially enjoyed viewing the probate lists of items in each of the rooms as that was something that Mary Furher talked about in our Elementary workshop. it was great to see some of the artifacts recovered and to picture what the estate must have looked like back then. Sad story about the Royall family though. On to Boston and the Black Heritage Trail. Loved the Statue of the All Black Regiment and the story of Robert Gould Shaw and his mother. Wish there was more to see at the School and Museum. I was disappointed that we could not go into the African Meeting house since it was closed.
