Found a website entitled Signs and Stitches in song. Nice pictures of former plantation dwellings. Also found an activity to simulate a day in the life of Clara from the historical fiction story Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt. have found differing opinion on whether these quilts actually existed since there are none around today.
